Lake Powell!

This is our trip to Lake Powell with the Squires and Floreks! We had a great time. Jenny flew in to be with us, we just wish the boys could have all been there too. Trevor and Tyson stayed in Georgia to sell security systems. They are there working for the summer.
We went to Bullfrog, the weather was just perfect. When it was too hot we jumped in the water. It was a beautiful 5 days. It was also wonderful having Jenny with us. We have missed her.
Kelsie and London riding or clinging to the back of the boat. I have a feeling there were no Mothers in the boat, just Dads.

Bare footing! London and Kelsie. Tough girls that's for sure.

Cliff jumping, one of the favorite things to do at Lake Powell.

Troy skiing on the best water of the day.
Such beauty! There is no place like it anywhere.

The hair washing. Now this is service.

The hike and not everyone was thrilled to be going.
Gracen, London, Chelsey, Morgan, Kelsie, Jenny, Hailey and Troy Dean

This was at the end when we were going to die of heat exhaustion. Thank Heavens there is wonderful water at the end of the hike.

Jenny and Hailey as we started the hike with their treats in the only pocket they had.

Hailey, Jenny and her admirer Gracin.

Troy surfing and showing how it's done.

Look no rope!

Jeanette Squire surfing.

I am trying but don't seem to look quite as good at this as the rest.
Taylor would say i'm not gangster enough.

Hailey and Jody.

Look at Jody go!

SISTERS RETREAT!

Sisters retreat is a tradition for my family. We don't usually have any Men there but my Dad and Brother Kevin joined us a few times. Like the first morning when we went to the Oquirr Temple.
In the picture it is Annette (my twin sister) Dad, Mom, Me, Lynn (my brothers wife) and Kevin. Rannelle is taking the picture.

We went to lunch at Gardeners Village then returned to the Temple with everyone. I agree crazy to go twice in the same day.
We are standing in the way we are in the family. Youngest first,
Valerie, Annette, Me, DeNean and Rannelle.

This is at Dinner that night. We were staying at a Marriott Residence Inn in Cottonwood. It was nice. We had a suite with 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and a kitchen and family room with a sofa bed. Rannelle slept on a blowup.

DeNean and Rannelle.
DeNean lives in Washington State, Rannelle lives in Fareview Ut.

Friday night we went to the play "Three Musketeers" at the Hale Theater.
Dad and Kevin joined us there too. We all loved the play. Our Dad has his Masters degree in Theater so we have been in and gone to many plays. By the way I hate being in plays, I am not a natural like others in my family are at acting.

Saturday morning Rannelle got sick and stayed inside while the rest of us were out at the pool. We love the warmth and just love being in the sun. Poor Rannelle she is attempting to eat something.

This is some of us Sunday morning before we left to go to Layton to Church. Then they all went home.

Memorial day weekend!

One of our favorite places down there. It's a slushy place in Hurrican.

Olivia deciding if this was going to be fun.

Bridger hanging out in the shade of a little hang over.

Kelsie and Melodee are at the top of the Narrows. This is Melodee's first time coming to the Narrows.

The girls looking up at us from down in the narrows where there is an opening off to the side. I'm up above looking through an opening.

Kara with Bridger and Olivia.
look at those cute kids. Bridger smiled the whole time hiking and eating our picnic. I would guess he will love the outdoors.

As you can see, we went to the Brigham Young winter home. Our Family has been there many times but we like to take others when they come to St.George with us. There are many places to see like this in St George. We love them all.

We just came to see the Temple. We didn't go do any work this time but we usually do.

My two girls.

Tyson's friend Stephanie is learning to be a photographer, so she asked Kelsie and Jenny to do a photo shoot. We went to Saltare where there is an old building with colorful graphiti and an old train. Then we went to the little park just north of the church office building. The girls had fun posing and just having fun together.
They had a great opportunity to do what all girls want to do. Be models! They were great at it too. Stephanie is a great Photographer, and has allot of talent.
