NATIONAL DRILL TEAM COMPITION!

Kelsie and I went to California with her Drill team. They had Nationals competition and a ton of fun too.
Six Flags! We rode them all and had such a good time there.

As you can see with all the smiles they did great.
They took 1st in kick, 1st in military, 1st in hip hop, and 2nd in dance, in their category.
They then took 1st in Kick and Military and hip hop overall.
They got a special award of the highest score overall the dances done. That was a 294.6 out of 300. The dance was their kick.
Last of all they got Grand National Champs.
Meaning all there scores combined were the highest.
I'm so proud of them. They were competing with 5 other SLC teams. Some of them were in the State comp. and they had beat Northridge at State. I guess having judges that aren't bias sure helps.
Thanks Coach Michelle, Coach Angie and Coach Janessa for all the hard work this year.
The girls couldn't have done any of it without you coaches.

C
Then we had lots of fun! We played and played.

Taylor leaving for his Mission.

We have just come back from Taylor being set apart as a Missionary. It was a great experience and Taylor has such a great Testimony of why he is going on a Mission. I feel so blessed to have my third son worthy and going on a mission. I just seem to cry a lot in spite of wanting him to go serve the Lord.

Tyson was able to be there with us for the setting apart. Trevor and Jenny had class that night.

Taylor's friends spending his last night with him. They won't see each other for 3 or 4 years if they all go on Missions. Taylor is a good example for those boys.

Taylor with Nate and Annette Romer.

The morning before we left for the MTC. I can remember taking his pictures at that very spot on his first day of school threw all the years.

Trevor and Jenny with Tay.
Were glad they could come with us. It meant a lot to Taylor.
Tyson had class today.

My youngest Missionary and I. I am so proud of him. I just don't quite want to let go yet.

I made it pretty long before the tears came. We love you Taylor and will miss you, our happy little boy. It's ok though we only have 24 fast Sundays tell we see you again. The Philippine people will be glad you come to love and teach them.

Troy's Birthday

Whats wrong Troy did someone mention your age of 48? It's ok honey your still as fit as the boys.

Troy you look so thrilled to be getting clothes again.

I hope you had a happy day and know how much we all love you. Your a great Husband and Father and we appreciate all you do for us.

BOONDOCKS WITH THE HOLLANDS!

Olivia and Kelsie bonding! We were getting ready to go to Boondocks in Kaysville.
The Hollands were going as a big family and Troy and I were invited. Kelsie
was going to play with friends so she got all the hugs she could while Olivia was willing to give them.

Kara and Olivia bowling. What fun!

Troy and Bridger.

Livvy rode the merry-go-round forever. She was like a rodeo queen riding along and waving to everyone she passed. She was adorable.
