STATE DRILL TEAM COMPITION

The beginning of the State drill competition.
Trevor and Jenny were real troopers getting there at 8:30 am to wait in line outside.

Kelsie and McCall waiting for their first State Competition to start!

Jenny and I at the beginning of the day.

My cute girls! Jenny is always there for Kelsie.

Tenae, Kris (Coach Michelle's husband) and Troy.

Kevin and I towards the end of the day.
Doesn't it look like I have been there 10 hours?

This is the "Kick" dance they took 4th in.

Oh boy! They don't look as happy as in the beginning of the day.
It's tough to find out where you live makes the difference not how good you dance.
The winners of "State" were all the SLC schools. I hear that's how it is every year. Kasha knew that from other years and took the news better.

The Cardinelle's were the winners in my book!

Coach Janessa and Kelsie.

Temple trip with Taylor.

Taylor has wanted to attend the temple a lot, so Thursday afternoon we went to the Draper Temple. We hadn't been there before, not even to the dedication. We were really surprised at how different it looked inside compared to the Bountiful Temple. I thought it looked similar to the Palmyra Temple, at least the colors inside. The spirit was the same as in all Temples, wonderful. We met my brother Kevin and G&G Hall there. There isn't anything better than being in the Temple with your Son for his first few times. Taylor and I are wanting to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple next week. I hope Taylor can learn to love the Temple and get in the habit of going often where there is no other place you can receive such peace and learn so much. Troy is a great example of that since he goes every week.

Northridge High takes 1st in Region!

Kelsie and her 2 best friends! They have stuck together through all the hard work.
Winning region sure makes it all worth it.

1st place in Kick!
3rd place in Military!
1st place in Region!
I'm so proud of them for all the work they and their coaches have done.

The Team Cheer!

This is a video of their Military. This is from Friday night at a Basketball game halftime.
Kelsie is the 3rd to the last coming out, then the one stunting on the far left. Try to follow her from there.

Taylor's first day at the temple.

The view of the Bountiful Temple while driving there in the early morning.

Taylor in the lobby of the temple.

These are some of the family and friends that were with us in the temple. There were others who left before we could take the pictures. Which are Trevor and Jenny, Bishop England and Dennis Hepworth. And of course Grandpa Cox, who was working in the temple.

Tyson, Kendall, Grandma Cox, Adam, Taylor, Zack
Troy and I.

The beautiful Bountiful Temple.
It is such a blessing to be in the temple with Troy and our 3 boys. It almost feels like a dream that we have hoped and prayed for, for so long. I am so thankful that we have such a place to drive to so quickly and be able to worship there. I love my children and am so proud of them. I can't wait until Kelsie can be there with us in a few years. I also am so happy I have a beautiful daughter-in-law to be there with us as a Cox family.

My Tay-bay!

After the temple we went to Sills cafe for breakfast. These are Taylor's friends who are leaving around the same time as him and were able to join us at the Temple.

Tyson leaving home for College!

Tyson Packing his car to leave to go to Logan for the new semester.
He looks like he is going to miss his Mother that's for sure.
His 2 small appliances that he say's is all he needs. The george forman and the rice cooker that our Vietnamese family gave us.
A little food, a lot of workout additives and even more clothes.
It looks like he is stocking up on Mom's cooking before he has to eat his own.
We will miss having him here.
