OUR WEEKEND!

Friday night at 9:30 pm our Bishop came to our door. He told us he had been in a meeting. They announced that Elder L. Tom Perry was going to come on Sunday the 28th and speak in a unscheduled Stake Conference for our Stake. Since Taylor's Farewell talk was scheduled for the 28, it meant there was only the Sunday of the 21st for him to be able to speak. So I was in a bit of a panic since that gave me 1 day to get everything for the dinner and to contact everyone. Thank heavens for technology, between texting, emailing, calling and facebook we had most everyone there. Family and Friends were so good to help in anyway they could. Sat. was Taylor's 19th birthday so that changed his plans from skiing to writing a talk. Kelsie had her first dance so we wanted to be able to be part of that too. As you will see everything went over well and the best of all is its over and it was a wonderful day. Taylor gave a fabulous talk and we were so proud of him.
